Alli and Ings in England squad

England manager Roy Hodgson has included Tottenham
midfielder Dele Alli and Liverpool striker Danny Ings in
his squad for the first time for the forthcoming Euro 2016
qualifiers with Estonia and Lithuania.
Alli has enjoyed a superb start to the new season with
Spurs, having joined the club from Championship side MK
Dons.
The 19-year-old has featured in all but one of
Tottenham's fixtures this campaign, scoring his first
Premier League goal for the club in the 1-1 draw with
Leicester City back in August.
Roy: Sturridge decision my call
Roy Hodgson says he made the
decision to leave Daniel
Sturridge out of the England
squad...
He has featured only twice for the England Under-21s
and is joined in the squad by Liverpool forward Ings, also
receiving a senior call-up for the first time.
However, there is no place for Ings' Liverpool team-mate
Daniel Sturridge , even though he has fully recovered from
his hip injury.

Sturridge has yet to feature for England since a 1-0
friendly victory over Norway in September 2014.
In-form Leicester forward Jamie Vardy, who is currently
the Premier League's top scorer with six goals, is also
included.
Southampton left-back Ryan Bertrand is recalled to the
squad in place of Luke Shaw. The Manchester United
defender featured for England in last month's victories
over San Marino and Switzerland, but misses out after
breaking his leg in two places during the Champions
League defeat to PSV Eindhoven.
