When WAEC released its analysis of the 2015 WASSCE results, it revealed Wellspring College as the 3^rd best school in Lagos state and the 28^th best school in Nigeria. Many readers were pleasantly surprised, especially those who were not aware of Wellspring College as at that time.  This performance led to the award of excellence presented to the school by Africa Brands Review earlier this year.
