Drama as Nigerian Woman Gets Arrested for Slapping a Chinese Woman in Lagos

A minor altercation has led a Nigerian businesswoman to land a serious slap on the face of a Chinese woman leading to serious assault.
A lagos businesswoman has been arrested and arraigned by policemen attached to Ilasan Division,

Lekki, Lagos for slapping and assaulting a Chinese woman.
According to information gathered, the Nigerian businesswoman identified as Onaivo Salihu, 30 allegedly slapped a Chinese woman, Anugwon Chenshien Xu on her face during an argument over a minor accident at Shoprite Plaza, Lekki, Lagos.
After investigation following a complaint by Anogwon Chenshien Xu, Salihu was arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrates’ Court, Lagos on a count charge of felony to wit, unlawful assault and slapping.
The incident happened during an argument when Xu's vehicle allegedly scratched the businesswoman's vehicle at Shoprite Plaza, Lekki, Lagos.
Police said the offence is punishable under section 170 of the criminal law of Lagos State, 2011.
Salihu pleaded not guilty to the allegations when the charge was read to her in the open court.
Magistrate O. Owunmi admitted the defendant to bail in the sum of N100,000 with two sureties in like sum and adjourned the case till 26 July, 2016 for mention.
