In what will come across as a most bizarre pregnant ever, a woman is leaving people absolutely shocked with her new found craving for soap .
The Soap-eating woman with her partner
Mum-to-be Jess g*yford has developed a bizarre pregnancy craving – she can’t stop eating soap.
Jess, who is nearly eight months’ pregnant with her second child, started with bars then moved on to liquid soap.
She now gets through up to two bottles a week.
She said: “It came out of nowhere. I wanted to lick a bar of Dove soap. I went to buy a bar and started licking it. It sounds Disgust*ng but it’s really nice.”
Jess, 26, of Bristol, has a five-year-old son, Alfie, with partner Lee Trimby, 31.
Lee was worried at first but they have been told it won’t harm their unborn daughter.
She added: “In my first pregnancy I wanted to eat baked beans and cheese but nothing weird.”
The condition pica, which mainly affects children and pregnant women, causes people to eat non-food items such as sand, ice or paint.
