The assets of President Buhari and Vice President Yemi
Osinbajo have finally been disclosed. Below is a press
statement from the presidency.
“Documents submitted by President Muhammadu Buhari to
the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB), show that the retired
General has indeed been living an austere and Spartan
lifestyle, contrary to what many might expect of a former
Head of State of Nigeria and one who has held a number of
top government positions, such as governor, Minister of
petroleum and the head of the Petroleum Development
Trust Fund (PTDF).
“The documents submitted to the CCB, which officials say
are still being vetted and will soon be made public, show
that prior to being sworn in on May 29 , President Buhari
had less than N30 million to his name. He also had only one
bank account, with the Union Bank. President Buhari had
no foreign account, no factory and no enterprises. He also
had no registered company and no oil wells.
“The Vice President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) who
had been a successful lawyer before his foray into politics
declared a bank balance of about N94 million and 900,000
United States Dollars in his bank accounts.
“President Buhari declared however that he had shares in
Berger Paints, Union Bank and Skye Bank.
“This is entirely unlike what one might expect from a
former head of state of a country like Nigeria.
“The documents also revealed that President Buhari had a
total of five homes, and two mud houses in Daura. He had
two homes in Kaduna, one each in Kano, Daura and in
Abuja. One of the mud houses in Daura was inherited from
his late older sister, another from his late father. He
borrowed money from the old Barclays Bank to build two of
his homes.
“President Buhari also has two undeveloped plots of land,
one in Kano and the other in Port Harcourt. He is still
trying to trace the location of the Port Harcourt land.
“In addition to the homes in Daura, he has farms, an
orchard and a ranch. The total number of his holdings in
the farm include 270 heads of cattle, 25 sheep, five
horses, a variety of birds and a number of economic trees.
“The documents also showed that the retired General uses
a number of cars, two of which he bought from his savings
and the others supplied to him by the federal government
in his capacity as former Head of State. The rest were
donated to him by well-wishers after his jeep was
damaged in a Boko Haram bomb attack on his convoy in
July 2014.
“As revealed by the same forms, highlights of the Vice-
President, Professor Yemi Osinbajo’s asset declaration
include his 4-bedroom residence at Victoria Garden City,
Lagos and a 3-bedroom flat at 2 Mosley Road, Ikoyi. The
Vice President also has a 2-bedroom flat at the popular
Redemption Camp along Lagos-Ibadan Expressway and a
2-bedroom mortgaged property in Bedford, England.
Aside from these, the Vice President has no other landed
properties on the form.
“Apart from his law firm, known as SimmonsCooper, the
Vice-President also declared shareholding in six private
companies based in Lagos, including Octogenerium Ltd.,
Windsor Grant Ltd., Tarapolsa, Vistorion Ltd., Aviva Ltd.
and MTN Nigeria.
“According to details shown on the form, the Vice-
President has about ninety four million naira, nine
hundred thousand US dollars and nineteen thousand
pounds in Nigerian Banks with the foreign currencies kept
in local domiciliary accounts. His personal vehicles are one
Infinity 4-Wheel Drive SUV, one Mercedes Benz and a
Prado Jeep.
“As soon as the CCB is through with the process, the
documents will be released to the Nigerian public and
people can see for themselves.”

Buhari help Osinbajo to names deputy chief of staff, media aide

Press statement from presidency
President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the
appointment of Mr. Rahman Adeola Ipaye as Deputy Chief
of Staff and Mr. Laolu Akande as Senior Special Assistant
(Media & Publicity) in the Presidency.
The two new appointees will work in the Office of the Vice
President.
Mr. Ipaye is the immediate past Attorney General of Lagos
State.
He studied at the University of Lagos where he graduated
with B.A. (Hons) Degree (History) in 1984; LL.B. Hons
(1988) and LL.M. (1991). He is a Fellow of the Chartered
Institute of Taxation of Nigeria and the Chartered
Institute of Arbitrators respectively.
Before his appointment as Attorney General and
Commissioner for Justice, Mr. Ipaye was employed as a
lecturer in the Department of Commercial and Industrial
Law, University of Lagos (1992 to 2001); Special Assistant
(Legal Matters) to the Governor of Lagos State (2001 to
2007); and Special Adviser (Taxation and Revenue) to the
Governor of Lagos State and member of the State Executive
Council (2007 to 2011).
Mr. Laolu Akande graduated from the University of
Ibadan in 1990 with an honours degree in History and a
Masters degree in Communication & Language Arts in 1992.
He became a Staff Reporter of the Guardian newspaper in
1990 while still serving under the National Youth Service
Corps. He left The Guardian to join the foundation team of
The News Magazine in 1993, where he became Senior Writer.
In 1997, he was appointed by Nigerian Tribune as editor of
the Tribune on Saturday , a position he held until he moved
to the United States of America in 1998.
In the United States, he worked as a journalist with the
Philadelphia Inquirer and New York Newsday. He also
served at the United Nations as a Press Officer and later
as an Advocacy and Communication Consultant. He was also
the Bureau Chief of The Guardian in North America and
the Executive Director of the Christian Association of
Nigerian-Americans, CANAN.
Mr. Akande taught at the State University of New York at
Stonybrook and also Suffolk County Community College in
Long Island, New York between 2002 and 2015.
Ipaye and Akande have been working with Vice President
Osinbajo since the inception of the present Administration.

wife, happy life,” as he continues to let Kim Kardashian,
34, win their arguments while she’s still pregnant. But
while things may be all well and good in the Kimye
household for now, there is at least one major showdown

EXCLUSIVELY. And this time, it has to do with their growing
family!
While he appears to nothing short of a great father to
North , 2, Kanye is has his mind set that he doesn’t want to
have any more children after the birth of their baby
boy. “He’s adamant about not wanting more children
after this,” an insider told HollywoodLife.com
EXCLUSIVELY. But there might be some hope for Kim, who
definitely wants more kids, as “they’re tabling that
discussion until after she gives birth.” That must be one of
the arguments he’s letting her win while pregnant.
The topic of having kids has certainly been a difficult issue
for the couple. Kim recently opened up to C magazine, in
which she explained that she may have to get her uterus
removed after giving birth , as she has a condition called
“placenta accreta,” which proves dangerous for her.
Now, her ultimate fear is that she’ll have to get a
hysterectomy after this high-risk pregnancy, and never
have the chance to be a mother again, which will certainly
make this showdown with Kanye all the more dramatic.
“Kim is doing her best to downplay it but it’s really scary,”
a source previously told HollywoodLife.com . “So far she
feels healthier than she did when she was pregnant with
North, but it’s still something that’s hanging over her
head.”
This is definitely going to be a very difficult discussion for
the couple, and one that could be filled with some even
more difficult decisions. Both Kim and Kanye are already
such great parents, and it would be heartbreaking if Kim
had to go through with the hysterectomy and destroy all
chances of her ever getting pregnant again. We just wish
the couple the best health and happiness as they continue
to plan out the future of their growing family.

Kylie and Tyga have come along way since these first
subtle displays of public affection. After making their
official awards show debut together at the MTV VMAs on
Aug 30. the couple took a page out of Kim Kardashian , 34,

music video together called,“Stimulated.” In the
video, Kylie and Tyga can be seen getting cozy together in

Kris & Caitlyn Jenner Meet Face-To- Face For The First Time

E! has been teasing us for WEEKS
about this one, and now the actual clip of Kris
and Caitlyn Jenner meeting for the first time is
finally here! The exes meet up at Caitlyn’s
home for a chat, and things go from friendly to
awkward real fast. Watch now!
Kris, 59, and Caitlyn Jenner , 65, aren’t together anymore,
but for the sake of their kids, Kendall and Kylie ,
they’re trying to maintain a friendly relationship — but

The conversation eventually turns to Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair
article, which Kris slams because the former Olympian said
in it that her family was a ‘distraction.’ “Don’t go there,”
Caitlyn warns her ex. “This is not the issue. I was
defending myself. It was a distraction from who I was. It
doesn’t mean I didn’t love you or the kids.”

Miley Cyrus , 22, posted another topless photo to Instagram
on September 3, sans caption as she laid looking sleepy in
bed. At this point, fans are used to seeing the Dead Petz
frontwoman bare a little skin, but it’s actually the first
shot she’s shared since slipping some major nip at the

The only question on fans’ lips since the MTV VMAs has
been “Miley, what’s good?” but maybe they’ll finally have
something else to talk about! Miley shared a somber,
seemingly intimate shot with her fans from her bed, on the
morning of September 3. It was all messy hair, no makeup
and cluttered with laundry — oh yeah, and completely
topless!
Miley’s shared tons and tons of pics since the VMAs, but
none of her usual naked fare. This is the first since the
awards show, where you may remember she managed to
beat the censors and show her fully naked breast live on
air. Quite a feat!
Miley was skirting the boundaries the entire show, wearing
costumes that only barely covered her chest (i.e.
suspenders and nothing else), but this was on another
level. We assumed that after her stunt, she’d be amping

Miley did run into some trouble with the Parents Television
Council for baring her breast on TV. The PTC was livid over
Miley’s nudity, as children as young as 14 could have been
watching the awards show. Their words about Miley were
quite harsh, stating that she relied on her sexuality more
than her talent! Rude!
Is it possible that Miley took these words to heart and
stepped back from going naked for a few days? We really
hope that she didn’t let anyone tear her down, because
she’s cool the way she is.

Pastor arrested for raping his faithfuls after convincing them that his eggplant contained “milk”

Sobrino Valdeci Picanto, an evangelical pastor from Brazil,
persuaded his followers that he practiced oral sex because
it was the way he preached the word, saying that his ‘milk’
was sacred. And this pastor said his penis was blessed and
that “the Lord had consecrated with divine milk of the Holy
Spirit” and of course, had to go around evangelising.
“He convinced us that only God could come into our
lives through the mouth”, a follower said, “Often,
after worship, Pastor Valdeci asked us to do oral
sex on him until the Holy Spirit came through
ejaculation and delivered funds to the church.”
Sobrino Valdeci Picanto, 59, was arrested in Apore, Goiás,
Brazil, for raping several women attending his church. He
gave as an excuse that his penis had been consecrated with
“divine semen of the Holy Spirit.”
Valdecir came to abuse some elderly, and defends himself
by saying that ‘he had an encounter with Jesus in a brothel
and gave him the mission of spreading the sacred semen
throughout the state, beginning with the faithful Apore
Assembly, of which he is responsible’.
Denise Pinheiro, delegate of the region, said, “Valdecir was
caught red-handed while rubbing his penis in the face of a
local merchant, which promised to make more sales in her
business due to the divine liquid.

Woman tries to sell her virginity for $16k but gets raped instead

Images of the moment a young actress who tried to sell her
virginity for $16,000 makes her desperate escape, after
she was allegedly raped during the encounter has
emerged. The 20-year-old from Azerbaijan, agreed to
meet a man she met online in the city of Perm, in central
Russia.
Mikhail Dnistrian, 28, paid for her ticket, but when she got
there it is alleged that the man she went to see said he
had changed his mind, and tried to force her to work as a
prostitute. She claims when she refused he beat her up and
forced her to pose for erotic pictures before raping her at
his flat.

She only managed to escape his clutches, it is claimed, by
making a rope with sheets to let herself down from the
third floor, but fell in the process, fracturing her hip.
Images of her alleged escape were taken by an eye-
witness as the girl tried to clamber down the makeshift
rope.
Police have arrested Dnistrian.
The woman told police she was on her own as both of her
parents had died and she wanted to collect money to
develop her acting career.
Dnistrian's girlfriend, who asked not to be named,
admitted she was stunned after learning about the
accusations, and claimed he had only ever been kind and
gentle with her.
The court in Perm has said there are no plans for pursuing
a case against her for prostitution or trying to sell her
virginity and they are treating her as a victim.

According to reports, Toyin Aimakhu and her hubby,
Adeniyi Johnson have reconciled for the second time after
their latest separation scandal.
A source told us that the actress has moved back into her
matrimonial home in the Obadore Area of Ajah, Lagos.
We reported earlier that the actress stormed out of her
matrimonial home in anger when she caught him flirting
with a member of her staff.

$15bn Oil Deal: Why Indian High Commissioner Is After Me

Nigeria’s former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-
Madueke, on Wednesday, chided the Indian High
Commissioner to Nigeria, Mr. Ajjampur Ghanashyam, over
his allegations that as former minister, Alison-Madueke
‘sat’ on a $15 billion oil deal.
Alison-Madueke who spoke through her lawyers, Messers
Chike Amobi and Co., dismissed the allegations, describing it
as spurious, unfounded and libelous.

According to her, the High commissioner, Mr. Ghanashyam’s
acrimony towards her is due to the refusal of the Federal
Government of Nigeria to allow the Indian company, Oil and
Gas Commission Videsh Limited (OVL), default on its
contractual obligation to provide a $6 billion investment,
(around RS36, 600 crore) in an 180,000 barrels (bpd)
Greenfield refinery and 2,000 megawatt power plant or
railway line from East to West of Nigeria.
In a release made to journalists in Abuja on behalf of the
former minister, she said the publication by Mr. Ajjampur
R. Ghanashyam to the effect that she delayed the
approval of oil concession to twin Indian companies, Oil and
Gas Commission Videsh Limited (OVL) and Mittal Energy
International JV, OMEL (MITTAL) in 2006, after receiving a
$25,000,000.00 signature bonus, is spurious, false and
lacking in substance.
Madueke clarified that she was not the Minister of
Petroleum Resources in 2006 when the said Indian
companies entered into contractual agreement with the
Federal Government and as such wouldn’t have received
any signature bonus either as citizen or minister of the
Federal Republic.
She also said she had no personal reason to sit on the
contract just as she wondered why the High Commissioner
would “choose to malign and attack her rather than
commend her acting dispassionately in recommending for
refund of the said signature bonus to the Indians when the
matter was brought to her attention at the twilight of her
tenure as minister.”
“When the issue of the request for refund, made by OVL,
was re-presented to me in May 2015, I immediately
prepared and dispatched a letter dated 13th May, 2015,
Ref #: PI.LM/3900/S.693/Vol.1/78b, to former President,
Goodluck Ebele Jonathan (GCFR), recommending for the
refund of the said signature bonus in compliance with the
relevant and extant laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria
which requires such approvals to be granted by the
President, and implemented by the Federal Ministry of
Finance.”
Mrs. Madueke further explained that the Federal
Government voided the contract with OVL because the
company wanted the Federal Government of Nigeria to
waive the commitments they made during the bidding
process which included investing $6 billion (around RS
36,600 crore) in an 180,000 barrels per day (bpd)
greenfield refinery, a 2000 megawatt power plant or a
railway line from East to West of Nigeria, all of which were
considered in granting the concession in the first place.
On the allegation that the Indian High Commission to
Nigeria suggested that contrary to global best practices in
the industry, Mrs. Alison-Madueke used intermediaries to
receive payment for crude oil transactions with India,
clearly imputing a fraudulent ill-feeling to the former
minister’s operation, she explained that the contract in
question was a government to government crude oil sales
transaction with established procedures which predates her
tenure as minister.
She also said that the established procedure stipulates that
the buying country, in this case India, selects and presents
a local company as its agent to transact on its behalf as it
is never the responsibility of selling country to select or
nominate a company for the buying country.
She maintained that Nigeria never dictated nor suggested
any intermediary or marketing company for India for the
purposes of the said transaction.
“Apparently, the Indian High Commission to Nigerian
mischievously obfuscated these facts to malign the former
Nigerian Petroleum Minister whilst not disclosing that it was
a government to government crude sales transaction,” the
statement said.
The former Minister disclosed that what Mr. Ajjampur R.
Ghanashyam neglected to inform Nigerians is that the oil
concession was not granted to Oil and Gas Commission
Videsh Limited (OVL) and Mittal Energy International JV,
OMEL (MITTAL) due to inability of their subsidiary EMO
Exploration and Production to meet cash obligation.
According to the lawyers acting on behalf of the minister,
“Mr. Ajjampur R. Ghanashyam’s acrimony towards our
client is due to the refusal of the Federal Government of
Nigeria to allow OVL default on its contractual obligation to
Nigeria in the case of:
A $ 6 billion investment, (around RS 36, 600 crore) in an
180,000 barrels (bpd) Greenfield refinery.
2,000 megawatt power plant or railway line from East to
West of Nigeria.”
Mrs. Alison-Madueke said as a diplomat, the Indian High
Commissioner who should foster bilateral and multilateral
relations between his country and Nigeria, belittled “such a
lofty position by officiously spreading false and misleading
information calculated to malign Nigerian public officials ,
a conduct unbecoming of a foreign diplomat.

“We believe the conduct of Mr. Ajjampur R. Ghanashyam is
aimed at damaging our client’s reputation for her
insistence on protecting the interests of the people of the
Federal Republic of Nigeria, and for not acceding to
inappropriate requests of his country to be relieved of its
contractual obligations to Nigeria.
“Based on the falsity and unfounded allegations against
our client, we firmly but humbly request an unequivocal
apology and a complete retraction of the libelous
statements from Mr. Ajjampur R. Ghanashyam against our
client.”

Buhari To Give Primary School Pupils Free Meals. by

Vice- President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo said the President
Muhammadu Buhari’s administration would soon
commence giving primary school children free meals.
The vice president said the free feeding scheme was a
core project of the Federal Government that would in
turn yield about 1.14 million jobs and increase in food
production. Osinbajo said this at the 45th Annual
Accountants Conference in Abuja.
He said the government would be investing more in the
people, education and job creation.
Speaking on the topic “Repositioning Nigeria for
Sustainable Development: From Rhetoric to
Performance,” Osinbajo said that the multiplier
effects of the introduction of the school feeding
scheme would help to create 1.14 million new jobs;
increase food production by up to 530,000 metric
tonnes per annum, as well as attract fresh
investments up to N980bn.
He said, “One of the most important interventions
required in the education sector is capacity building to
improve teacher quality.
“This programme is intended to drive teachers’
capacity development; boost basic education; attract
talents to the teaching profession. Better educated
population increases economic potential for
productivity.”
“The All Progressives Congress has made a commitment
to provide one-meal-a-day for all
primary school students; that would create jobs in
agriculture, including poultry, catering and delivery
services.”
The vice president decried the high rate of
employment in the country in spite of the fact that
Nigeria had recorded high oil prices, Gross Domestic
Product and foreign reserves during the previous
administrations.
This, according to him, has made it clear that such
figures, including a rise in revenue by itself, do not
create jobs or significantly reduce poverty level in the
country.
“So, why are most (of our people) poor despite rising
revenues and GDP growth? Our main revenue earners,
the extractive oil and gas economy, do not by
themselves create many jobs. Such is the irony of a
top-down economic model; when the major revenue
earner is extractive and the value chain is poorly
developed,” he argued.
Osinbajo also said there was need for the government
to improve the power sector and have a one-stop shop
for approvals of investments.
Other areas of focus in the Buhari economic plan, as
espoused by his deputy, are innovation and fighting
piracy; diversification of the economy in the areas of
agriculture to achieve self-sufficiency in rice and
wheat (staples) production; manufacturing;
entertainment and technology.
On the power sector, he noted that “despite the
challenges, there have been measurable
improvements over the past three months (June to
August 2015).”
He said, for instance, there had been a 26 per cent
increase in operational generation capacity (June to
August 15, 2015 compared to January to May 2015);
decrease in pipeline vandalism, boosting of gas supply;
and a 10 per cent reduction in transmission losses.
Other achievements in the sector, he said, included
reduction in red tape to remove delays; blocking the
450MW Azura-Edo IPP and the 500MW Exxon Mobil
Qua-Iboe IPP; and the imposition of a September
2015 deadline for the submission of the DisCos’ revised
tariff trajectories.
The vice president said there was no going back on the
Treasury Single Account policy of the Federal
Government, saying the TSA would address issues of
non-transparency, especially among revenue
generating agencies.

agencies of government that did not remit funds into
the Federation Account as and when due

Vincent Enyeama’s mother has passed away it has
emerged, hours after Nigeria coach Sunday Oliseh told
media that the goalkeeper opted out of the Super Eagles
ahead of their trip to Tanzania without an excuse.
The 101-capped Enyeama posted a message on his
Instagram page on Wednesday afternoon apologizing to
Nigeria fans but fell short of stating the reason for his
absence.

4-Year-Old Girl Stolen From A Church In Lagos (Photos)

The police have begun a manhunt for unidentified
persons who sneaked into a church early Wednesday
and stole a 4-year old girl.
The incident happened at Ejigbo, a bustling suburb of
Lagos State, western Nigeria.
The victim identified as Tope Ogundeyi, was stolen at
the Cherubim and Seraphim church located at
Ilufunmi street, Ejigbo.
According to Olumide Ogundeyi, the baby’s father, he
came to the church for deliverance prayers at the
church.
He said that after the prayers, they slept inside the
church auditorium as directed by the prophet.
What surprised many residents was how those who
abducted the girl entered the church compound
without being noticed by the residents and the church
members that slept there.
The bemused Ogundeyi said the doors and windows of
the church auditorium were locked after their
midnight prayers before they slept.
He said when he woke up in the morning around 5:00
am, he did not see Tope where she was lying with two
other of his children and did not see his three
handsets where he kept them.
He said he raised the alarm which attracted other
church members and they immediately started
searching for Tope but did not find her.

Ogundeyi said that the matter has been reported at
the Ejigbo Police division and the Oba of Ejigbo, Oba
Moruf Ojoola, has equally been informed about it.
He lamented that the disappearance of Tope has
worsened the predicament of the family.
He revealed that they reside in Ogun State from
where they came to the church for prayers.

“I don’t know what to do now except believing in God
that Tope will still be found,” Ogundeyi lamented.
When our reporter visited Imakiyo and Ejigbo police
division where the matter was reported, police
sources confirmed the development.
However, the DPO was not around to comment on the
matter.
Police sources said they have since commenced
investigation to arrest the suspects.
When our reporter visited the church, the members
who were in a mournful mood confirmed the
incident.
Attempt to speak with the owner of the church,
Prophet Michael Balogun, failed as our reporter was
told that he was not around.

completely back to normal. She told friends and family it

With The Kardashians in 2012. In the episode, however, it

Trailer falls off bridge, kills three in Lagos

No fewer than three people were killed on Wednesday after
a container on a 40-feet trailer fell off the Ojuelegba
Bridge onto the road below.
PUNCH Metro learnt that the container, which was not
latched to the trailer, crushed two private vehicles which
were in motion.
The vehicles, a white Toyota and a black jeep, were
reportedly mangled under the weight of the container.
A crowd of residents and motorists was said to have
converged on the scene as there was apprehension on the
number of casualties involved in the incident.
The situation was said to have caused traffic snarl in the
area as traffic officials had a tough time controlling the
number of people trooping the scene and redirecting the
traffic.
The driver of the trailer reportedly attempted to escape
the scene.
He was, however, apprehended by the angry mob.
A witness, who identified himself as Sir J, said the accident
happened around 4.50pm.
He said, “It happened around 4.50pm, as we were all in the
park doing our businesses.
“The container on the 40-feet trailer suddenly fell off the
bridge and crushed two private cars.
“The driver of the trailer wanted to flee, but we
apprehended him. There is chaos everywhere.”
A check on social media by our correspondent showed the
accident was already trending, as people called on
government officials to intervene.
A resident with the Twitter handle@ lvck_skinhead, wrote,
“I just started running, couldn’t even look back; so many
injured and dead. I have never been this scared in my
life.”
Another resident, Olaseni Oladejo, said one of the cars was
mobile when the container fell.
The resident, who wrote on Twitter, said, “The truck
container fell on a moving car killing the driver and one
passenger.”
The General Manager of the Lagos State Emergency
Management Agency, Michael Akindele, said three persons
died in the incident.
He said, “We are already on the ground and there is a lot
of crowd around here.
“Three persons were killed. Rescue operation is still
ongoing.”
The spokesperson for the National Emergency Management
Agency, South West zone, Ibrahim Farinloye, said the
occupier of the second car escaped unhurt.
He said, “It is one jeep that is under the container. And I
was told just one person is inside, but we have yet to
ascertain whether it is a man or a woman.
“Rescue officials from the state and federal agencies are
on the ground.”

ICPC probes Fashola, Amaechi, Akpabio, others

The Independent Corrupt Practices and other related
offences Commission has set up a task force to probe eight
former governors.
A top operative of the commission, who confided in our
correspondent on Wednesday, said that the task force was
set up following petitions written against the former
governors.
It was learnt that top operatives of the commission working
in the task force had been dispatched to the states to carry
out the probe of the affected former governors.
A top operative of the commission said that the former
governors were Alhaji Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State;
Chief Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers, Alhaji Ibrahim Shema of
Katsina and Sullivan Chime of Enugu State.
The source said that the other four were on the waiting list.
The former governors on the waiting list, according to the
source are, Mr. Raji Fashola of Lagos State, Godswiil
Akpabio of Akwa Ibom State, Martin Elechi of Ebonyi State
and Alhaji Sule Lamido of Jigawa State.
The source said that the ICPC was not considering political
parties or association in its response to allegations of
corruption made against the affected personalities in the
petition.
The source said, “It is true that we are going after eight
former governors. The investigation against four of the
former governors of Rivers, Katsina, Kano and Enugu has
commenced.
“However, the commission has listed four other former
governors who are on the waiting list because of petitions
against them. They are the immediate past governors of
Lagos, Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi and Jigawa States.
“A Special Task Force was set up by the Chairman of the
commission last week to coordinate the investigation in the
states. So we are reopening the petitions through the
Chairman of the Special Task Force.”
The probe is coming on the heels of a recent move by the
ICPC to move 47 crack detectives to the states and the
zones to strengthen them in the fight against graft in the
society.
The Resident Consultant, Media and Events, of the ICPC,
Mr. Folu Olamiti, refused to comment on the story when
contacted.
None of the ex-governors was available for comment on the
probe.

Man confesses to raping his daughter only 6 times

On Wednesday, 34-year-old factory worker, Mohammed
Ahmed confessed that he has raped his daughter ONLY 6
times. (Only??)
Ahmed, who was paraded by officials of the Osun State
Command of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps said
he started having sex with his 14-year-old daughter in
April, 2015.
Ahmed said:
“I have two wives. The first had left and she gave
birth to three children. The second wife gave birth
to two children before she died.
“This one is the first child of my first wife. I don’t
know what came over me in April when I started
having sex with my daughter. I had sex with her
only six times since April 2015.”
The Head, Public Relations and Protocol Unit of the NSCDC,
Mr. Wale Folarin, said the command was alerted to the
man’s act by one of his neighbours.
Folarin said:
“The incident was reported to us by a neighbour,
who said he used to hear the cry of the girl every
night.  When confronted, the girl admitted that her
father had been raping her.”

Nigerian arrested with N1bn cash in Niger

The police in neighbouring Niger Republic arrested a
Nigerian carrying 4.6m Euros (N1.05bn) in cash at the Diori
Hamani Airport in Niamey, the capital of Niger, on his way
to Dubai. However, the Nigerien authorities have refused to
send the seized funds back to Nigerian authorities.
The Nigerien police said they suspected that the man was
fleeing with the money in order to avoid being caught by
the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, who
has been prosecuting an anti-corruption campaign since
assumption of office on May 29.
They also expressed worry that there has been a rise in the
number of Nigerians transferring huge sums of money in
cash through neighbouring countries.
The police in Niger are already working on the suspicion
that the money traffickers have accomplices within the
country.
Interestingly the authorities in Nigeria on Wednesday
claimed ignorance of the money seizure in the neighbouring
country though the Customs officers in Niger were already
kicking against repatriating the cash to Nigeria.
A media report in Niger on Saturday said the National
Union of Customs Officers at a press briefing “denounced
the request of the Nigerian authorities” to return the
seized money.
The Customs official said there had been several similar
seizures in Niamey from people trafficking money from
Nigeria, putting the amount that had been so seized in
several billions of naira.
They said the seized money had been mainly in dollars,
euros and pounds sterling, asking the Niger authorities to
allow the Customs officials to do their job without
interference.
When contacted, the Senior Special Adviser to the President
on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, said he could
not speak on the development because his brief was to
speak for the President.
He therefore referred one of our correspondents to the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“I speak for the President. On this kind of issues, I
will advice that you speak with the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs,” he said.
At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the officials denied
knowledge of the seizure in Niger Republic. The ministry’s
spokesperson, Ogbole Ahmedu-Ode, said the ministry had
not received official communication on the arrest of any
Nigerian.
“I am hearing about this incident for the first time
from you, we have not received any communication
on the matter from any quarters,” he said over the
telephone.
The spokesman for the Nigerian Customs Service, Mr Wale
Adeniyi could not be reached for comments.
But a senior official of the Service in confidence said that
the issue had yet to be brought to the attention of the
agency.
The official said since the matter was a diplomatic issue,
there were protocols that must be adhered to before the
customs could step in.
The official said:
“As we speak now, the matter hasn’t been drawn to
our attention. This is a diplomatic matter that has
to be treated with caution in order to avoid
diplomatic row between both countries.
“The identity of the person in question has not been
established and it is the Nigerian embassy in Niger
that would verify that.
“After that is done, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
will be notified before other security agencies would
be invited on the matter.
“So, it is not something that the Customs will jump
into and start investigating because the Customs in
Niger don’t report directly to us in Nigeria.”

6 year old boy dies trying to save his 12 year old sister from a rapist

A six-year-old boy bravely gave his life to save his older
sister from a twisted sex attacker who broke into their
home.
Dominick Andujar heard his sister Amber's cries for help
and raced to her aid allowing her to wriggle free but the
attacker then turned on him and he paid with his life.
Both children had their throats slashed by the attacker but
only Amber survived, running out into the street with blood
pouring from her neck to raise the alarm.
Now their attacker Osvaldo Rivera, who lived near the
family in Camden, New Jersey, has been jailed for 110
years.
After Dominick’s death, the family were given a diary
Dominick had written in from his nursery teacher.
It read: “I am a superhero. I save people.”
The attack happened in September 2012, when Dominick
was just days away from starting school.
Mum Debbie, who was separated from the children's
father, had recently had an operation and she was in
hospital recovering so Amber and Dominick were at home in
care of one of their two older sisters.
It was Amber's 12th birthday and she had fallen asleep on
the sofa in the early hours when Riveria, 34, broke in.
Seeing Amber he grabbed a knife from the kitchen and
held it to her throat as he sexually assaulted her.
The terrified girl screamed for help and her desperate
cries woke Dominick.
He raced in to the lounge and when he saw Rivera, he
rushed forward to save his sister grappling with her
attacker but unable to stop him slitting Amber’s throat.
As Dominick fought with Rivera, Amber managed to struggle
free - her throat had been sliced so deeply that her vocal
cords were exposed.
Blood gushing from her wound, she staggered out of the
house and onto the streets for help before collapsing in a
pool of blood.
When police arrived at the home, they found Dominick’s
body.
Rivera had slashed his throat and fled the scene.
Investigators found defence wounds on Dominick’s small
hands from where he’d battled to save her.
Their older siblings were deeply shocked but unharmed.
Mum Debbie was distraught as the loss of her youngest
child, saying: “He gave his life for his family.”
Amber underwent two operations to repair her sliced
oesophagus and trachea but incredibly, she survived and
after a month in hospital, she was discharged.
Despite being deeply traumatised, she was able to help the
police and had recognised her attacker as he used to give
kids haircuts in the neighbourhood.
She knew his nick-name sounded like ‘Poppy’ and police
discovered it was ‘Popeye’ and they were able to track him
down to a flat.
They found Rivera hiding behind an upturned mattress
and nearby his blood stained trainers that matched
footprints at the crime scene.
He asked officers: “How bad did I hurt them?”
He asked officers. He was charged and held on a $5million
bail.
At his trial last year Amber appeared in court with the
scars of her attack visible on her neck and described how
he held a knife to her throat, put his hand over her mouth
and assaulted her.
She tearfully described her brother’s heroic actions that
cost him his life on the "most terrifying day of my life".
The jury found Rivera guilty of 11 counts including
murder, attempted murder and aggravated sexual
assault.
He was sentenced to 110 years in prison. He won’t be
eligible for parole for 91 years.
Outside of court in a family statement Dominick's sister
said: “Grown men wouldn’t do what Dominick did that day.
He’s our soldier and will forever be in our hearts until the
day we die.”

The world of professional wrestling
was shocked and saddened when WWF
legend Jimmy Snuka was arrested and charged
with murdering his girlfriend during an
incident in 1983. Now, fans have taken to social
media to express their feelings over the
surprising news.
Wrestling legend Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka, 72, was charged
with the murder of his girlfriend, Nancy Argento , who was
found dead in their shared hotel room in 1983. The
wrestler surrendered to Lehigh County authorities in
Allentown, Pennsylvania on Sept. 1, where he was
arraigned and sent to the county jail under $100,000 bail,
which he later posted. Wrestling fans took to Twitter to
express their sadness and shock at the arrest of the WWE
Hall of Famer.

Jimmy will reportedly be charged with committing third-
degree murder, which means a killing with malice. It
carries a maximum sentence of 20 to 40 years in prison.
The WWE would only say that it “expresses its continued
sympathy to the Argentino family for their loss. Ultimately

Osun State Assembly assures workers that outstanding salaries will be paid soon

Osun State House of Assembly has assured its workers that
the relief package given to the state would be judiciously
administered, saying that they would soon have their
outstanding salaries paid, while the work-in-progress of
public infrastructure would be attended to.
It also vowed to drive the anti-corruption crusade with its
oversight functions, promising to break bureaucratic
difficulties, which are capable of dragging development at
a slow pace.
The speaker, Hon. Najeem Salaam, in a statement by his
Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Goke Butikakuro, stressed that
the parliament under his watch was more than ready to
bring all ministries, departments and agencies to account
on how budgetary funds appropriated to them were
managed with a view to getting them to be on their toes
and be accountable to the public.
Salaam reiterated that the state parliament has taken the
first leg of its anti-corruption crusade through the passage
of the procurement bill into law, stating that the law when
signed by Governor Rauf Aregbesola would drive the
processes of contract award, purchases of the government
and other state transactions; noting that punitive
measures were well spelt out for the transgressors. The
Speaker also disclosed that the parliament would obtain
the report of ongoing workers’ audit and frisk it in order to
be updated on the actual numerical strength of the work
force of the state with a view to giving rough tackles to the
would-be manipulators of the process.
He expressed the support of assembly to Gov. Aregbesola in
plugging all the financial leakages and cutting of cost of
governance.

Chris Brown & Nia Guzman Gearing Up For Intense Custody Court Battle In 2 Weeks

This is not good. Chris Brown is
getting ready to take down the mother of his
daughter, Nia Guzman, in court, and he is
ready to get dirty. In fact, Chris plans to use
Nia’s current boyfriend against her to get
custody of their daughter, Royalty!
Chris Brown , 26, will reportedly face Nia Guzman, 32, in
court in two weeks to dispute the custody of their 1-year-
old daughter, Royalty . While Nia wants full custody of
Royalty with Chris only allowed supervised visitation, Chris
wants joint custody and he has a strategy in place to get
it: throwing Nia’s felon boyfriend , King Ba , right back in
her face!
Nia plans to protest Chris’ request for joint custody on
claims that he is a “bad guy,” who hang out with “thugs”
and smokes weed, according to TMZ . However, her claims
may not hold proverbial water when Chris describes to the
court who Nia is currently dating and rumored to be living
with.
“The allegations that have been made against Nia Guzman
are completely false,” Domenick Nati , Nia’s rep tells
HollywoodLife.com. “Nia has not been in a dating
relationship with Ba for several months and she has no
criminal record and has never took park in any criminal
activity with Ba. Also, Nia is not trying to obtain any fame
or additional money from Chris Brown other than the child
support that is expected for the raising of their child and
she asks that the press and general pubic would stop
hurling false accusations at her and her daughter.”
King Ba, who is listed as the father on Royalty’s birth
certificate, is currently wanted by the authorities in Texas,
after he allegedly committed forgery. In fact, stakes are
so high for Ba’s identification, that there is actually a
$5,000 reward in place.
Chris, meanwhile, is terrified for Royalty’s safety , nervous
that the cops may burst into the home Ba shares with Nia.
In fact, a source revealed to HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY
that Chris “fears the police are going to show up at Nia’s
house, guns drawn and busting down her door with Royalty
inside the house. He can’t sleep thinking about the myriad
of dangerous outcomes that can happen with Royalty being
